Oxygen Saturation


Another method of rating the severity level of someone with Sleep Apnea by determining their blood oxygen levels during hypopnea episodes. Normal blood oxygen levels should be above 90%. The severity level is determined by how far below 90% ones blood oxygen drops.

  • Mild problem – 85-90%
  • Moderate problem – 80-84%
  • Severe problem – below 80%
